Maxime Who?

Bitter Voodoo doctor:

This is my response to your idiotic log which only twenty-six people read (http://www.chowk.com/ilogs/71032/49717). You've failed to gauge the new mood here at ChowQ.

So this is your foaming at the mouth, the promised revenge against not Islam but the Prophet? Keep going, you will not last long in the wilderness.

Concentrate on your studies, think of the money they've wasting on the sinful education that makes you hateful towards God's Word. The next time I see your folks they'll be sorry they sent you abroad. I don't think much of liberally educated types anyway.

Muslims don't read Orientalist/Marxist trash like this 'gem' that you suddenly found in a public lavatory.

The demented Orientalists love wasting their time painting Muhammad (peace on him) in a bad light. Exalted is the Prophet, and doomed are the unbelievers.

If only the Christians and Jews stopped denigrating God's Prophets and instead followed their commands, they would be a lot better. No, but they poke fun at them (free speech, you know) in their standup comedy shows! God's wrath on those who do that, and Allah's blessings on the virtuous.

2:257
God is near unto those who have faith, taking them out of deep darkness into the light - whereas near unto those who are bent on denying the truth are the powers of evil that take them out of the light into darkness deep: it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide.

Your uncle, Maxime Rodinson (26 January 1915–23 May 2004), was a French Marxist historian, sociologist and orientalist. The son of a Russian-Polish clothing trader who studied oriental languages, and became professor of Ethiopian (Amharic) at EPHE (École Pratique des Hautes Études, France).

He joined the French Communist Party in 1937 for "moral reasons." He then turned away after the Stalinist drift of the party, from which he was excluded in 1958. He is the author of "Muhammad," a biography of the prophet of Islam.
